    God and Tonga are my inheritance

    Artist Emily Mafile’o is an Aoteroa-born halfi kasi Tongan. Her new series of photographs ‘God and Tonga are my inheritance’ presents images of Tongan people taken during the occasion of the 2015 Coronation, the official crowning of the King Tupou VI, ‘Aho’eitu ‘Uniaki’otonga Tuku’aho Tupou. She documents this significant event from multiple angles and perspectives.
