Browse through Fijian translations and images (1800s – 1900s) from the Fijian archives of the heritage collections on Black Friday, 13 October, to coincide with Vaka-Itaukei ni vanua o Viti / Fiji Language Week.
This event will showcase the Fijian/Pacific manuscripts, articles, images, letters and written documents that we have available at Research Central.
This event will take place on the new performing arts space on the ground floor of the Central City Library. It will be hosted by Daren Kamali, Senior Pacific Curator of Auckland Libraries and Dr. Tarisi Vunidilo of the Auckland War Memorial Museum and University of Auckland.
