Decent Exposure | The University Art Collection Undressed

Take a peek at what the University of Auckland Art Collection has tucked away. Decent Exposure features 25 nudes, semi-nudes and demi-nudes in what Associate Professor Linda Tyler describes as, “a jaunty local riposte to the Body Laid Bare exhibition stage at the Auckland Art Gallery earlier this year.”

Undressing that which the University has on offer, the exhibition showcases masterpieces of its own leading contemporary New Zealand artists Yuki Kihara, Rohan Wealleans, Ioane Ioane and Lisa Reihana, New Zealand’s 2017 Venice Biennale Representative.

Accompanying Decent Exposure is a free, full-colour catalogue containing short, lively essays from a diverse range of contributors.
