What lies in the meeting places between the worlds?
Parallel worlds collide when five youths find themselves stranded in the mangrove swamps of an Auckland harbour. As the waters rise they discover the elements are not all they must face to survive the night. An exploration of the meeting places between the spiritual and the earthly, the ancient and the now. The PIPA 2017 graduating class presents- Lima, a new dance theatre work directed by Sima Urale with choreography by Teokotai Patai.
Costumes by the award winning Lindah Lepou, sound by the remix master Anonymouz, vocals led by Milly Grant and surreal lighting by Peter Davison.
Lima is devised and performed by the first ever Year 3 Bachelor degree PIPA students.
*Please Note Lima contains strong themes that may not be suitable for young children.
