The Plaza: Connecting Papatoetoe and Silo Park

The Plaza engages local audiences in Papatoetoe and Silo Park to bring to light the unsung heroes of every day encounters – shopkeepers. The photography exhibition creates an honest document of the community of Papatoetoe, and is accompanied by a completely community generated publication and cultural archive. The Plaza includes the stories of the shop keepers featured in the exhibition as well as interviews with community members articles from the Papatoetoe North School Writers Club, historical archives of Papatoetoe and more.
