In the year 1760, a Polynesian priest stood on aÂ beach and began to declare through propheticÂ utterance an imminent change which wouldÂ commence upon the arrival of ‘The GloriousÂ Children of Te Tumu’. Benjamin WorkÂ an artistÂ of Tongan and PÄkehÄ (New Zealand European)Â heritage, has developed a bold visual language thatÂ references historical narratives, design elementsÂ and semiotics particular to Tongan culture.
