We are seeking an outgoing person with Pacific heritage, who is both approachable and confident, to join our team as the Wellington Tautai Tertiary Liaison for 2018.
Â
This is a role designed to support current tertiary students and facilitate connections between Pacific arts students across the Wellington art institutions. The successful person will offer individual support when needed, facilitate group meetings within each institution, make cross-institution connections and spread awareness to Pacific tertiary students about opportunities through Tautai.
Â
This is a part time fixed term role running alongside the academic year, for five hours a week.
Â
The Tertiary Liaison acts as an ambassador for Tautai, requiring them to have a firm understanding of all aspects of our organisation.
Â
We are looking for someone who is confident, motivated, works well autonomously and is genuinely interested in supporting tertiary students. Our preference is that the successful candidate be a senior or post grad student, studying within a creative field.
Â
Please email a cover letter outlining why you feel you would be the best person for this role – along with your CV – to tautai@archive.tautai.org by Wednesday 7 March, 5pm.
