We know more than we know we know explores the notion that each encounter we have exists firstly inside our heads, and the subsequent outcome of each encounter is based largely on our current state of mind, throws up questions around what constitutes rational and irrational thought and behaviour.
Based on this idea it’s possible that much of what we see and how we see it also exists largely within our heads. Maybe the amount of attention we choose to give to what we see is the determining factor in what we experience as reality.
