TITLE TITLE WHAT’S A TITLE has evolved out of an collective google document, which outlines concerns over the tensions around the body and anxieties around representation in a proto digital age. A one night only exhibition and social media spectacle, TITLE TITLE WHAT’S A TITLE is a mediation upon the internet’s offering of a platform in which women can create and represent their body, sexuality and subjectivity on their own terms. It is an expression of a multitude of experiences, which probes questions around gendered capitalist subjectivity, occupation of space, institutional learning and a consideration of the intersections between race, class, gender and sexuality. TITLE TITLE WHAT’S A TITLE is a proposition; it is a gesture. It is a space where a multitude of experiences unify with a series of collective concerns seeking to answer how do we come together?
